About JDS
The Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) is a Master's-level scholarship programme funded by the Government of Japan. Administered by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), the programme has supported the human resource development of partner countries since 1999.
JDS operates in 7 partner countries: El Salvador, Fiji, Ghana, India, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, and Solomon Islands. Each year, approximately 100–150 government officials and young leaders are selected for full Master's degree study at Japan's top graduate schools.

Operating Committee
The JDS India Operating Committee oversees selection and academic operations. Members include representatives from:
